Shame

One event took place in the Gurugram of Haryana. The event put me in deeply saddened thoughts. I am forced to express my reaction.
A middle-aged lady saw young girls in their twenties and objected to their dress. The girls ignored the objections saying they were comfortable. The lady got angry (sic) and called some boys who were in the vicinity and asked the boys to rape (Yes, Rape) the girls. According to the lady, the girls deserved to be raped as they were looking forward to that.
My Reaction
I am aware of the shallowness of some progressive people,
Very difficult in this world, to be really progressive,
When one professes to be progressive.
Feel ashamed witnessing them in this 21st Century,
Need, a whole generation has to awake, arise, and confront them,
Eye to Eye.
These past-their-middle ages are jealous,
on seeing the skin of the legs of the young girls
Or they are jealous and violent,
due to their own incapabilities.
They don't see the low waste sarees,
Going down from their naval line,
And they look for a reason for rape
in the size of tops and skirts of youngs.
They get their blouses, bareback, cloth
Which might be just sufficient for hankies,
And they are cursing the youngsters,
seeing them wearing tops and skirts.
Ashamed, I am, perhaps you too!
Seeing such incidents, not worth seeing though.
Come, come one, come all.
Let us join hands,
Let us join shoulders
Let all awake, arise, attain healthy thoughts.
Let all shame this thought,
But
Not feel ashamed of freedom.
