GOD! It is here. I Saw the invisible! 2

GOD! It is here. I Saw the invisible!  2

A night in October 1994, neither hot nor cold. Relaxing a bit. 11:30 pm. Yes, relaxing, sitting on the pavement, resting my back on a lamp post. Not worrying whether some dog might have dirtied the lamp post during the day. Did not have the energy for worrying. Fatigue had taken over me, my body, my mind, everything. I was there, outside the hospital, waiting for none, just hoping that there should not be another emergency call from inside. My mother was admitted, it was the fourth day. My sister was with her, she had come from the office to spend the night with her mother. I had spent the previous night with my mother and was in my office during the day. The commercial world is not sensitive to the relations, so had to be in office. Came to visit my mother after office, around 6pm expecting that I would go home, leave around 7 pm. A couple of visitors and it was already 8. My sister came, would stay for the night. suddenly looked at my mother, she was gasping for breath. We called the nurse, she sounded the doctor, and ..., it was an emergency. Doctors came, more than one, covered her bed, started giving one after another treatment. Demands started, bring this medicine, I was there to rush to the medicine shops around 750 meters away. Then another item, a third, a fourth one. by the time it stabilized, it was 11:30. Yes, my sister could be inside the hospital, I had to be outside.

And when I could sit on the pavement, resting on a lamppost, I realized I was hungry. I realized I have not eaten anything that day, only some snacks in the morning in the hospital canteen itself. Was totally exhausted, gathering energy from deep breathing only. few minutes maybe 10 or 15, got up and went to the canteen, it was closed. Another, it was closed. A third one, yes, there was a man, I asked him, anything to eat, he said, no, all finished, cleaned and he was retiring for the night. I looked for another, could not find any place where I can eat. came back, the pavement, the lamp post. Could see the man of the third shop packing all his utensils, preparing tor the sleep. But, he was waving at me, I realized he was calling me, it was dark inside his shop. I got up and walked towards him. He said, he had few chapatis and lentil, it was a boon for me. I told him, yes, give it, and asked him the price. I had already spent a lot on medicines which were not planned and money in my pocket was limited, I needed money for the next day bus fare and food also. Was a bit concern, how much he would charge. But he said, no, it is not for sale. He had cooked it for his brother who had not returned for the night. As the buses have already stopped, he gave me the food, did not speak anything, did not stay to listen to anything, and went away to his bed. I had the food, it was one of the best dinners I had ever, even till the day of writing this piece. I was there, on the pavement, eating the chapatis with lentil. Who was it, unnamed, undefined, unseen? Who. The next day my mother was discharged, we took her home. I went to the hospital after around two months, the shops were not there, the municipality had removed them and relocated somewhere. I did not see the person properly, I did feel the God. I saw the invisible.
