Waiting at Ocean Shores
One more day, one more night,
I am standing as it is,
Shores of the Ocean
Waiting for the waves.
The ocean is so near,
Yet it is so far,
Feel the pricking pain,
Stench of the hidden swamp
I stand alone in there
Darkest of the nights.
I cry, I shout, I laugh,
I talk alone, dead of night.
The cold sand, the saltwater
Washes my feet..
The waves shifts the sand
The times shift the thoughts
The mind becomes empty.
The heart is tired,
Embracing the emptiness.
The body is weak,
The roots are shaky,
The time of the final call
Awaiting the final fall.
The high tide is coming,
Can see the final Call,
Call of you, my friend,
Who promised to meet me
Only once, you will meet, sure.
You are with the waves
You are with the wind
You are in the ocean,
You are in the sound.
The high tide engulfs me,
I feel my friend
The tide turns low,
Leaving me waiting
I wait for eternity.
The tides come,
The tides go,
I bathe in the water
I feel his breath, his touch.
He leaves me again.
He leaves his tears, his pain
I wait, with my tears, my pain.
In between the tides,
History pages are written.
I witness the pain, the tears,
The sorrow of human,
Hear the sobbing blue sky,
Witness the crying wind,
Traverses there the pain
Inflicted on the destitute.
In the deep dark nights,
I stay on the same shore,
Wait for that one wave
I won't see that going back.
Wave that won't go alone
Wave that will carry me.
Wave that brings the boat,
Wave that carries me,
Wave that comes with last tide,
Wave that pulls me, it goes back.
Wave strong enough to uproot
Wave strong enough to detach
Wave that engulfs me in tears,
Tears of my friend, my ocean,
Wave gives permanent shelter,
Wave that hugs me tightly,
And I sleep in that vast expanse
The wide chest, the strong shoulders
Of my Friend,
The Ocean
