We Bow to You, Mother, We Bow to you
We Bow to you, We Bow to You.
THE INCIDENT OF SHAME
Which became a trigger for me to pen down and publish
A middle-aged woman in a shopping mall in Gurugram, Haryana, an upmarket city in India accosted girls wearing shorts and skirts up to their knees. The girls obviously objected. That lady approached some boys present on the same floor who were witnesses to the verbal spat between her and the girls. She asked them to rape the girls. In her words, the girls were asking to be raped by wearing dresses not covering full legs
SHAME
I am aware of intellectuals, and their intellect,
Difficult in this world, to be an intelligent,
being intellectual.
A generation needs to rise, wake up,
and confront these,
Challenge them, Eye to Eye.
Are these adults jealous,
Seeing the legs of the young girls?
Or they are violent,
due to their jealousy.
Unable to see low waist dress of own,
Exposing their naval line,
The adults justify rape,
On the size of skirts of youngsters!!
Ashamed, I am, perhaps you too!
Come, come all, Let's join hands,
Let's join shoulders
Let all awake, arise, and attain healthy thoughts.
Let's shame this wretched thought.
Let us Change Them.
Let us Change ourselves.
And thus the story starts
